FotoArtFestival has been founded to create an international forum for exchange of thought and image in the form of photographic art.

The main purposes of the Festival:

- promotion of distinguished names of world photography in Poland,

- promotion of world history of photography in Poland,

- promotion of Polish photography in the world,

- promotion of Polish history of photography in the world,

- promotion of photography as art,

- education in the field of photography as art,

- exchange of experiecne in photo circles around the world,

- cross-cultural exchange,

- integration of Polish and world photo circles.
